Designed as a scenic adventure along the famous Marangu Route, this two-day hike takes you through lush rainforest trails, beautiful mountain landscapes, and comfortable mountain huts, offering breathtaking views and a true taste of Kilimanjaro’s magic.
Day 1 – Moshi to Mandara Hut (Mount Kilimanjaro)
After an early breakfast in Moshi, you will be transferred to Marangu Gate for registration and briefing before starting your hike. The trail leads gently through dense rainforest, where you may spot monkeys, birds, and unique vegetation along the way. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route as you continue your steady ascent through the forest zone.
In the late afternoon, you arrive at Mandara Hut, located at about 2,700 meters above sea level. After settling in, you can take a short acclimatization walk to the nearby Maundi Crater for spectacular views of Kenya and the surrounding plains. Dinner and overnight at the hut prepare you for a peaceful mountain night.

Day 2 – Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate – Return to Moshi
After breakfast, enjoy the fresh mountain air before beginning your descent back through the rainforest to Marangu Gate. The downhill walk offers new perspectives of the forest and more opportunities to observe wildlife and native plants.
Upon arrival at the gate, you sign out and receive your hiking certificates before being transferred back to Moshi town. The tour ends with wonderful memories of your Kilimanjaro hiking experience.
